Resumo biográfico
Atualmente é Marie Skłodowska-Curie Researcher Fellow, no Institute of Infection, Immunity & Inflammation / Wellcome Centre for Molecular Parasitology da Universidade de Glasgow sob supervisão do Dr. Richard McCulloch. Possui Bacharelado em Bioquímica pela Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2003-2007). Fez Doutorado Direto em Biologia Celular e Molecular pela Faculdade de Medicina de Rbeirão Preto - FMRP/USP (2007-2013). Pós-Doutorado pelo Departamento de Biologia Celular e Molecular e Bioagentes Patogênicos na Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto-FMRP/USP sob supervisão do Prof. Dr. Luiz Ricardo Orsini Tosi (2013-2014 e 2015-2107). Também fez Pós-Doutorado no Institute of Infection, Immunity & Inflammation / Wellcome Centre for Molecular Parasitology da Universidade de Glasgow sob supervisão do Dr. Richard McCulloch (2014-2015). Atua nas áreas de Biologia Celular e Molecular e Parasitologia, com ênfase nos mecanismos de manutenção do genoma de tripanossomatídeos, tais como as vias de sinalização de danos e reparo de DNA assim como a maquinaria de replicação.
